We brought Maisie home July 1, 2013.

She was the joy we needed after losing our first Newfoundland Bailey the week before and our Newfoundland mix Charlie the week after she joined our family.

She is very eager to please and so sensitive to people and their emotions.  Because her temperament seems right for it, she and I are working towards becoming a therapy team.  It’s taking us longer than I thought, but we hope to get there.

Maisie loves the water, but doesn’t like to put things in her mouth.  Water Dog training doesn’t seem to be right for her, but we might explore draught work.
